Housing is guaranteed for incoming students provided you apply before a certain deadline. Ranked 12th in the UK for Accommodation and 1st in Wales for Accommodation by University Compare (2026), all accommodation options are single occupancy (non-sharing rooms), and each room will include as a minimum: a bed, desk, chair, wardrobe and storage. The accommodation fee is inclusive of all bills, Wi-Fi, gym membership and campus life activities as well. Prices range from £105 to £260 (CAD $195-$480) per week depending on the room.

Bangor University strongly believes in looking after their students and making sure that everyone is made to feel welcome and settles in with ease. The international student support office is available to students and their families and can provide advice and guidance on a range of support related matters. The Great Outdoors
If you are already interested in outdoor pursuits you will be spoilt for choice by the huge range of sports available on your doorstep. Snowdonia is the adventure capital of the UK with a high concentration of opportunities, from exceptional rock climbing to scrambling and hill walking to an abundance of water sports including, canoeing, kayaking, surfing, sailing and sea kayaking.
Canolfan Brailsford Sport Centre
Canolfan Brailsford, the University's sport and leisure centre, is located at the heart of the main student accommodation site at Ffriddoedd. Facilities include two main sports halls, three well-equipped gyms, a gymnastics hall, a multi-route climbing wall with ascents varying in difficulty. Outdoor facilities include grass pitches for football, rugby and American football, a floodlit synthetic pitch for hockey games and training, a shared athletics track and multi-purpose facilities for tennis, five-a-side football and netball.
